AFI DATA PORTAL
An interactive site, operating in a real time environment across the global AFI network.
AFI Data Portal (ADP) is an integrated data repository of Maya Declaration Commitments, AFI Country Policy Profiles, and AFI Financial Inclusion Indicators. The unified database is envisioned to strengthen peer learning in financial inclusion policymaking, as well as to facilitate the measurement and comparison of progress made in advancing financial inclusion.
The Maya Declaration is a commitment to unlock the economic and social potential of the 2 billion unbanked through financial inclusion. Through the Maya Declaration Commitments, policymakers and regulators publicly pledge specific targets to advance financial inclusion and regularly report progress.
Through the portal, AFI members will be able announce new commitments, report progress on their existing commitments, as well as check their peers' status of progress towards achieving the commitments.
AFI Country Policy Profiles is the first repository of knowledge containing information on the legal and regulatory status of financial inclusion in each country of the AFI network. The database allows regulators and policymakers to examine regulatory frameworks of their peers and to identify thematic, regional, and global trends in financial inclusion policies.
The Financial Inclusion Indicators module allows members to enter, view and analyse data of their countries progress in achieving financial inclusion. This module also allows users to view and perform analyses on the financial inclusion data of other member countries. Members can report against AFI Financial Inclusion Indicators, or add their own country-specific indicators.
